Why do I love Golden? Because I have so many great days like today. Today, after getting my family ready for their work/school day, I decided to go to an amazing Pilates class at Connect. I left feeling taller, happier, and calm, then drove over to Bonfire Burrito to grab my favorite, the Chupacabra to-go, then picked up a few items we needed at Natural Grocers Vitamin Cottage and went to work. A few hours later I took a quick lunch break and a lovely dog walk on North Table Mountain. Later, I picked up my daughter from school and dropped her at Virtuosity Dance Center for class, where she has been taking classes for the past six years, worked for a couple more hours and then finished my day watching a stunning sunset while we grilled dinner on our deck. It was a beautiful autumn day, 60 degrees and sunny in November! Every day is different for me, but so many of my days are filled by balancing work and family while enjoying Golden’s natural beauty/open spaces/trails and patronizing our beloved businesses.
