I am a Certified Mindset Confidence Coach, speaker, mentor, strategist, life coach, emcee, facilitator, community leader, mom, sister, and friend. I pride myself in supporting and encouraging others to shine. I’m thrilled that I finally found my passion for coaching women in life and business. When I’m able to inspire an “ah-ha” or awareness from one of my clients, I’m encouraged and invigorated. Helping others identify their blindspots and limiting beliefs is incredible. When I’m not coaching, I love to hike, ski, travel, read, learn, grow, and volunteer. I’m a proud mom of my 15-year-old Goldendoodle and two adult daughters, who have so much to contribute to this world. I love being a part of our Golden community. It truly is a special place to live.

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career/accomplishments. What do you love most about what you do?
With more than two decades in business, I’ve earned cars, diamonds, and fun accolades as a sales professional in the top 2% of a multi-billion dollar direct sales company. The award I’m most humbled by is by being the first honoree of Golden Women in Business’ 2021 Helen Ferrell Berthoud Community Service Award. I was also honored to be named the “Best Life Coach in Arvada, Colorado 2023.”

Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants or breweries in our community?
Goosetown Station is the best place to hang out! I’ve coined it “Golden’s favorite backyard.” I’m happy that some of the breweries serve wine and/or kombucha since I’m not much of a beer drinker.

Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
I moved to Golden in December 2001. I remember riding my bike under the arch when I was a student at Regis in the ’80s and said to myself, “I could live here.” I was drawn to Golden long before I moved here.

Q: What is one of your favorite hiking or biking trails?
We are so fortunate to have so many trails in and around Golden. I love hiking South Table Mountain. I used to drop my daughters off at school a number of years ago and would hike to the top, stand on the peak and peer down over our community. There is something special about the view of the mountains with Golden bustling in the foreground.

Q: What advice would you give to yourself 10 years ago?
Trust yourself. You are an extraordinary woman with the opportunity to make a difference. Don’t hold back. You know what to do. Don’t let fear get in your way.

Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?
Foss Drug, Meyer Hardware and walking the path along Clear Creek

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
It’s natural to talk about the physical beauty, but the people in the organizations are what make Golden unique. Golden Women in Business embraces and supports women, whether they have a business or not. I’m honored to be president of this welcoming group of women who not only say we connect, empower and support, but who actually do in so many ways.

Q: What is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
I was a competitive swimmer from age 7 through college. Butterfly and breaststroke were my specialties.

Q: Who inspires you to be better?
Honoring my Mom and being a positive light for my daughters

Q: Finally, what 3 words or phrases come to mind when you think of the word HOME?
“Love begins at home, and it is not how much we do.. but how much love we put in that action.” –Mother Teresa; “The ache for home lives in all of us, the safe place where we can go as we are and not be questioned. ” –Maya Angelou; “There is no place like home.” -Dorothy, played by Judy Garland, Wizard of Oz
