I’m originally from Massachusetts, and I love exploring the outdoors and soaking up the beauty of the mountains with my dog, Chola, who I rescued in Peru during a yearlong Fulbright grant to study Andean bears. I was an avid horseback rider for 20 years and competed through college before transitioning into dance, mainly salsa! Traveling is a big passion of mine; most recently, I completed the Camino Primitivo de Santiago, walking nearly 200 miles in 14 days. I also enjoy cooking and baking healthy food and spending relaxed moments sitting in the grass with friends.
Here in Golden, Colorado, I work as a holistic bodywork practitioner. I’m passionate about helping people reconnect with their bodies and live pain-free, fulfilling lives because I know firsthand how transformative healing can be. I began this journey after struggling with chronic pain myself, which led me to explore various therapies and eventually become a practitioner. I’m known for my empathetic approach and dedication to supporting each client’s unique needs. Being part of a community that values health and connection is truly meaningful to me. With my natural curiosity and drive, I’m always seeking new ways to learn and better support my clients. Currently, I’m focused on expanding access to bodywork for underserved populations and continuing to grow my local practice.

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career/accomplishments. What do you love most about what you do?
I’m a holistic bodywork practitioner offering Rolfing Structural Integration here in Golden. I believe that life can be pain-free, and I’m passionate about helping others access the natural resources within their bodies to feel well and stay well. It’s incredibly fulfilling when clients report less pain, more energy, better sleep, increased flexibility, and a greater sense of body awareness and peace. I spent many years living with chronic pain and feeling disconnected from my body, working hard just to feel marginally better, so I deeply understand how transformative it is to rediscover ease and mobility. I love helping people move through their days, and their favorite Colorado adventures, with greater comfort and confidence. Each client comes in with unique needs and goals, and I get to adapt my work to support them in the most effective way possible. It’s truly an honor to do this work. Looking ahead, my goal is to offer more discounted sessions to underserved populations, both in Colorado and around the world. I want this work to be accessible to more people who need it. I also bring a diverse background to my practice, having worked as a zookeeper, media relations coordinator, whitewater guide, field biologist, and restaurant server. Each of these roles taught me something valuable–whether it was adaptability, empathy, communication, or observation–which now helps me relate to my clients and be more creative in my approach.

Q: What advice would you give to yourself 10 years ago?
“Let yourself be silently drawn by the strange pull of what you really love. It will not lead you astray.” ― Rumi
Ten years ago, I was trying to figure out my next steps and was faced with many options. I often second-guessed myself and prioritized what seemed practical, or what others thought I should do, over what truly lit me up. This quote would’ve reminded me to trust the quieter, inner compass I felt but didn’t always follow. The journey hasn’t been linear, but leaning into the things I genuinely love, like helping people, working with the body, and staying curious, has brought me to a career and life that feel deeply aligned. I’d tell my younger self: You don’t have to have it all figured out. Just keep moving toward what draws you in.

Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?
The Golden Hayride always makes me think of the Wild West days! There’s something magical about visiting the Outpost or talking to Stacy and feeling transported back in time. I love that Stacy keeps that spirit alive. It’s playful, community-driven, and gives both locals and visitors a taste of Golden’s unique history. It’s a reminder of how this town blends small-town charm with a deep sense of heritage. And I can’t help but feel nostalgic passing by places like Woody’s or Buffalo Rose, as they’ve been part of so many Golden memories over the years.

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
One of my favorite things about Golden is the strong, supportive business community. There’s a real sense of camaraderie among local business owners, and the town offers meaningful opportunities for us to grow and thrive. I also love that Golden still feels like a small town, where community members actively participate, give back, and show up for each other. Whether it’s a town meeting, the Farmers Market, a networking event, tubing on the creek, or running into someone on the trails or at a local shop, there’s always a familiar face. It makes me feel truly connected and grateful to be part of something so special.

Q: What is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
My great-great-great-uncle founded an observatory and started the research that led to the discovery of Pluto.

Q: Who inspires you to be better?
My clients inspire me to be better every day. Their resilience, vulnerability, and commitment to their own healing journeys remind me why I do this work. Their trust motivates me to keep learning, deepening my skills, and showing up fully because they deserve the best care I can offer. Beyond my clients, the Golden community as a whole inspires me–from the business owners working together, to the everyday athletes embracing an active lifestyle, to my many new friends who are grounded, unique, and kind. Being part of such a supportive, vibrant community encourages me to grow both personally and professionally.
